When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them); I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me; let them also with a will listen to My call and believe in Me; that they may walk in the right way. (186)

Quran: Chapter Al-Baqara (2), Verse 186

Monday, May 26, 2008

... shall we indeed be created anew?...

Who made everything He has created good, and He began the creation of man from clay. (7)
Then He made his offspring from semen of dispised water (male and female sexual discharge). (8)
Then He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him the soul (created by Allâh for that person), and He gave you hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and hearts. Little is the thanks you give! (9)

And they say: "When we are (dead and become) lost in the earth, shall we indeed be created anew?" Nay, but they deny the Meeting with their Lord! (10)

Say: "The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls, Then you shall be brought to your Lord." (11)

Quran: Chapter As-Sajda (32), Verses 7-11

Friday, May 23, 2008

Now indeed, you have come to Us as We created you the first time. Nay, but you thought that We had appointed no meeting for you (with Us).

And (remember) the Day We shall cause the mountains to pass away (like clouds of dust), and you will see the earth as a levelled plain, and we shall gather them all together so as to leave not one of them behind. (47)

And they will be set before your Lord in (lines as) rows, (and Allâh will say): "Now indeed, you have come to Us as We created you the first time. Nay, but you thought that We had appointed no meeting for you (with Us)." (48)

And the Book (one's Record) will be placed (in the right hand for a believer in the Oneness of Allâh, and in the left hand for a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allâh), and you will see the Mujrimûn (criminals, polytheists, sinners), fearful of that which is (recorded) therein. They will say: "Woe to us! What sort of Book is this that leaves neither a small thing nor a big thing, but has recorded it with numbers!" And they will find all that they did, placed before them, and your Lord treats no one with injustice. (49)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the Earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, (1) And the Earth throws up her burdens (from within), (2) And man cries (distressed): `What is the matter with her?' (3) On that Day will she declare her tidings: (4) For that thy Lord will have given it inspiration. (5) On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the Deeds that they (had done). (6) Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! (7) And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. (8)

Verily (the ends) ye strive for are diverse....

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the Night as it conceals (the light); (1) By the Day as it appears in glory; (2)
By (the mystery of) the creation of male and female― (3) Verily (the ends) ye strive for are diverse. (4)
So he who gives (in charity) and fears (Allah), (5)
And (in all sincerity) testifies to the Best― (6)
We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss. (7)
But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient. (8)
And gives the lie to the Best― (9)
We will indeed make smooth for him the Path to Misery; (10)

The example of the life of this world

And put forward to them the example of the life of this world, it is like the water (rain) which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it, and becomes fresh and green. But (later) it becomes dry and broken pieces, which the winds scatter. And Allâh is Able to do everything. (45)

A Messenger... that he may lead forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of Darkness into Light

How many populations that insolently opposed the command of their Lord and of His messengers did We not then call to account― to severe account?― And We imposed on them an exemplary Punishment. (8)
Then did they taste the evil result of their conduct, and the End of their conduct was Perdition. (9)
Allah has prepared for them a severe Punishment (in the Hereafter). Therefore fear Allah, O ye men of understanding― who have believed!― for Allah hath indeed sent down to you a Message― (10)
A Messenger, who rehearses to you the Signs of Allah containing clear explanations, that he may lead forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of Darkness into Light. And those who believe in Allah and work righteousness, He will admit to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever: Allah has indeed granted for them a most excellent provision.
