Righteousness

It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces towards East or West (in prayers);
but it is righteousness ―
to believe in Allah
and the Last Day
and the Angels
and the Book
and the Messengers;
to spend of your substance out of love for Him,
for your kin, for orphans for the needy,
for the wayfarer for those who ask and for the ransom of slaves;
to be steadfast in prayer and practise regular charity;
to fulfil the contracts which ye have made;
and to be firm and patient in pain (or suffering)
and adversity and throughout all periods of panic.
Such are the people of truth the Allah-fearing. (177)

We have sent down to thee manifest signs (ayat); and none reject them but those who are perverse.

Say: Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel-for he brings down the (revelation) to thy heart by Allah's will, a confirmation of what went before and guidance and glad tidings for those who believe.― (97)
Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and prophets to Gabriel and Michael-Lo! Allah is an enemy to those who reject faith. (98) We have sent down to thee manifest signs (ayat); and none reject them but those who are perverse. (99)
Is it not (the case) that every time they make a Covenant some party among them throw it aside? - Nay most of them are faithless. (100)
And when came to them an Messenger from Allah, confirming what was with them, a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know! (101)

Verily, those who say: "Our Lord is (only) Allâh," and thereafter stand firm on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

And before this was the Scripture of Mûsâ (Moses) as a guide and a mercy. And this is a confirming Book (the Qur’ân) in the Arabic language, to warn those who do wrong, and as glad tidings to the Muhsinûn good-doers. (12)

Verily, those who say: "Our Lord is (only) Allâh," and thereafter stand firm (on the Islâmic Faith of Monotheism) on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. (13)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alif Lam Mim. (1)
This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah. (2)
Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them. (3)
And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. (4)
They are on (true guidance), from their Lord and it is these who will prosper. (5)

A Messenger... that he may lead forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of Darkness into Light

How many populations that insolently opposed the command of their Lord and of His messengers did We not then call to account― to severe account?― And We imposed on them an exemplary Punishment. (8)
Then did they taste the evil result of their conduct, and the End of their conduct was Perdition. (9)
Allah has prepared for them a severe Punishment (in the Hereafter). Therefore fear Allah, O ye men of understanding― who have believed!― for Allah hath indeed sent down to you a Message― (10)
A Messenger, who rehearses to you the Signs of Allah containing clear explanations, that he may lead forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of Darkness into Light. And those who believe in Allah and work righteousness, He will admit to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever: Allah has indeed granted for them a most excellent provision. (11)

Allah is the Protecting Guardian of those who believe. He bringeth them out of darkness into light.

Allah is the Protecting Guardian of those who believe. He bringeth them out of darkness into light. As for those who disbelieve, their patrons are false deities. They bring them out of light into darkness. Such are rightful owners of the Fire. They will abide therein. (257)

For He is the Most High, the Supreme

Allah! there is no Allah but He―the living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. For He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory). (255)

And be not like those who forgot Allâh ...

And be not like those who forgot Allâh (i.e. became disobedient to Allâh) and He caused them to forget their ownselves, (let them to forget to do righteous deeds). Those are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh). (19)

This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah... ― wherein there is no doubt from the Lord of the Worlds.

This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah; on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book― wherein there is no doubt from the Lord of the Worlds. ... a messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom...

Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah― the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (1)

It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom― although they had been, before, in manifest error― (2)

As well as (to confer all these benefits upon) others of them, who have not already joined them: and He is Exalted in Might, Wise. (3)

Such is the Bounty of Allah, which He bestows on whom He will: and Allah is the Lord of the highest bounty. (4)
